1. Agreement to these terms

These terms govern your access to and use of StatRead (the "Service"). By creating an account or using StatRead, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What StatRead is

StatRead provides statistical modelling, predictions, and historical data analysis for AFL matches, players, and teams. StatRead is a statistical analysis product only. It is not betting advice, and we do not provide, facilitate, or promote any wagering or betting service. Any decisions you make based on information shown in StatRead are made entirely at your own discretion and risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a paid StatRead subscription. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately at support@statread.com.au if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly, or seasonal, depending on the plan you choose) via our payment processor, Stripe.
• Some plans include a free trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid, recurring subscription and your payment method will be charged.
• You can cancel at any time from the Account page in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and we don't charge you again after that.
• Refunds are handled in line with our payment processor's standard subscription terms. Because access is provided immediately and continuously throughout your billing period, we generally don't offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law (see section 9, below).
• We may change subscription pricing from time to time. We'll give you reasonable notice before any price change takes effect on your subscription.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or resell StatRead's data or models without our written permission.
• Share your account with others in a way that circumvents subscription pricing.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

7. No guarantee of accuracy

StatRead's predictions and statistics are generated from historical data and statistical models. They are estimates, not certainties, and sport is inherently unpredictable. We make no guarantee that any prediction, probability, or statistic will be accurate, and we accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on information shown in the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Intellectual property

StatRead, its models, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service — it doesn't transfer ownership of any StatRead intellectual property to you.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010(Cth)) or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee that can't be excluded, you're entitled to the remedies the law provides, in addition to anything else in these terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms. You may stop using StatRead and cancel your subscription at any time as described in section 5.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where reasonably practicable we'll let you know.
